Who has or has seen or know of the oddest fish kept in the home aquarium? some thing like this Inimicus filamentosus the sea goblin..you know that creature from jeepers creepers..apparently it also lives in the ocean..So whats the oddest youve seen...

Oddest fish I have ever kept was the fingered dragonet, Dactylopus dactylopus

I have had one of these for over a year and he is awesome. He walks on his little fingers to catch small fish and spends the rest of the day hidding in the sand. Has grown from 2 inches when I got him to over 5 inches now.

Heh. Thread age aside....

Oddest fish in the home aquaria? Hmm. Yellow brotulids. Conchfish. Assfish. Yeah, assfish probably wins.

I kept a A. frenatus for 24 years.

Saw a walking batfish (Ogcocephalus Radiatus) for sale at "That Fish Place" in Pennsylvania. Was pretty strange. Cant seem to find a good pic though.
