question, ro/di filter frist chamber was cover with brown slug I opened it and rinse it off, it came back like new, I know the water on staten island is bad but if anybody have the same problem tell me ps after 100g water it get dirty

Depending on where you're located the amount of sediment could be a lot of just a little. So you should go by where you're located, as everyone has different pipes in their houses and neighborhood.

My TDS meter on my house on LI read at 267 the pamphlet said average houses are like 150 so everyones water is different I guess

Once again you have to go by where you live. You'll find that people in the NYC/Brooklyn/Bronx/Queens area have very good water, the TDS is anywhere from 25-50. People outside, like NJ and Westchester, have much higher levels, some of which is due to them using Well water.

thanks, before I move staten island I never tested for phosphate, always ph.nitrate. I live in the city before

I live on staten island the same thing with my ro I just open it from time to time and clean it.....
