Best Kalk out there?

I have been using KM Kalk for a while now. Good stuff but I find it to be a pain with mixing it, letting it settle, extracting it, filling up the Aquadose, yadda yadda.

Is there a better easier kalk out there to use? What do you experts recommend? Is dosing kalk the same for all products? Is there a kalk that can be mixed and added directly?

Not cheap, but you can buy ACS-certified kalk that does not contain much impurity...

Randy and Craig had many articles on the subject of kalk, and I strongely suggest you take a look at them.

IMO, the best kalk is the cheapest kalk that is safe for aquarium. I use Mrs Ball.

Call me crazy, but I always add all of it. I just add about 1 tsp. per gallon, shake well, and start dosing it.

We just use the shake and drip method around here as well. Sure is a lot less trouble.
