glue my green sea mat?

bought some geen sea mat yesterday and i cant get it to stay in any one place.instead of it growing on a rock the whole colony seems to be attached to a tiny piece of shell with maybe a 1/8 inch piece sticking out.no matter where i put it the power heads just seem to keep blowing it slowly around the tank.can i try to glue this piece to something?if so what kind of glue do i use?thanks for any help.

superglue, but make sure its the gel type.

Superglue gel -- or just rubber band the entire mat to some rubble and you should be set.

do i take the rock and the sea mat out of the tank,glue it and then put it back in?
