So German bulbs are better in the long run It seems like the color between 20,000K brands varies a great deal. I don't want a really blue bulb. I would rather not have my corals look washed out. Any recommendations?
As a hardcore SPS freak, I don't think the AB's are really all that blue, especially after "burn in". The AB 10k's look white to me, while the 20k is bluer, but certainly not washed out. However, you could go with a 14k or 14.5k if you think 20k's are too blue for you. Aquaconnect makes one that's highly rated. So does Giesmann with the "Megachrome" series.
