Hi, I've had a blue riccordia mushroom for a week that was openning up really nice until I did a water change, now for the past 2 days its just closed even with the lights on. The new water were the same parameters and all the levels are =0. I have polyps and reg mushrooms that look fine. Any advice? Thanks.

My ricordia sometimes closes up after a water change, but never for two days. Sometimes ricordia, like zoos, are moody...have you considered moving the ricordia?

Sometimes shrooms will go through these (at least in my tank) where they just dont want to expand that much.I think it is becasue they are adjusting to a new param in your tank.

Should riccordia be at the lower regions of the tank? I have a 29gal 110w PC. The dude i bought it from had metal halides so i figured PC was much weaker and could put it up towards the light. TIA.

No most florida rics love the light...So most likely its adjusting to a param that has fluxed in your tank.
