My coco worm has detached from its main body and now he is exposed......:smash::scratch::scratchch:scratch::scratch::scratchch

the may body is still alive in the shell but the feathers are not visible....
Stress or reproduction?

they drop off their feather when stressed from harrassed. its their defense system in fending off attackers. if left alone. it should grow back a new feather in a week.
