What size return pump??

I am currently setting up a 72 gal. bowfront on the first floor of my home, I plan on setting up a 40 gal. refugium/sump in the basement I estimate the tank output to be about 16' from where I plan on putting the pump. I would like to know what type and size return pump I should use??

Also what size piping I should use?

Iwiki 40RT or the 55RT with one inch piping. The 55 may be more than you need, but throddleing it down a little is no big deal. The blueline pumps would be a good choise also. They have similar performance.

What about A Gen-X MAK 4?
