I use a LG pump in my close loop. Make sure you got the low pressure pump head within the series. that is, for the same wattage, you get the one with higher flow.

Any water pump will heats up the tank water. It is relatively efficient, so it is not that bad. As to the noise, it is like a low hum... more quiet than my other pump (Iwaski 40, US made).

But using a low pressure pump head, you can get the same amount of flow with less electricity, and more quiet motor. Unfortunately, I don't have time this summer, otherwise, I would show how you can use a propeller pump (Tunze Stream, for example) in a close loop.
