dog face puffer question

Hi, I have a FOWLRWSSC (Fish Only With Live Rock With Some Soft Corals). It's a 120.

I wanted to add a dog face. I see it noted that it eats invertebrates.

I figured that meant crabs, snails, etc. You know, crunchy snacks.

Will the DFP eat my mushrooms, GSP's, and a few other softies as well?

I am sure it will at least taste each one.

When I put my dog faced puff in my tank that had a some softies, first thing he did was eat all my yellow polyps. Didn't even check out the tank first. Then he went to my rhodactis mushrooms and had a taste. He made a scrunched up face like he tasted something aweful, and he left those alone.

I would not add the DFP if there is anything you are not willing to sacrifice. I don't think there is any way for sure to tell what he will eat.
