anyone out there with a 120g?

im putting up this post to see what other people are using on their tanks, because im having a hard time deciding on a few things. if you could, can you tell me what equipment ur using on your tank, ie skimming, lighting, how much rock and the likes. all of the info you give would be very helpful. Thank You!!!

I have a 4-foot 120 gal. Currently I am upgrading many of the components to try and get it back to its former glory. Right now going to swap out 2x175 halides + PC for a 2x250 halide rig.

im thinking about getting a 48' also. your lighting sounds similiar to the one my lfs has but they also have some vho. im really trying to go for the same setup that they have since there main display is a 120 also. if u wanna set the tank its at triangletropicalfish.com. its my fav store in the whole world!!!

I used to have a 5ft custom built all glass. The cabinet is 6ft with 2 sumps that adds another 100G to the total volume. Aqua-C skimmer and kalk reactor.

For the most part, it's accurate. There have been some lighting changes, but I really liked the 2x400W I had on their earlier.

OMG len i really am thankful for that reply. your lighting system looks as if it costed a pretty penny. i was wondering how much was the setup. the pic of the tank looked AWSOME, i mean really. what were you or are you keeping in there? for my tank i really want to keep some sps,acropora and i really want an anemone. all long term goals. other things that i cant make my mind up on are clams and lps. i dont know well they mix with sps but i hope you can tell me. um any opinions or advice you can give me i would really love and appreciate. as always THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!
