Hi

Intending to setup tank to include largish fish eg. Regal Angel/Emp tang with mostly sps. Filt will be Berlin with a refugium.

What would be best: 72(l)x24(w)x24(h) or 60(l)x30(w)x24(h) ?

My thinking is that 5fter would be better for aquascaping but 6fter would reduce aggression in fish.

What d'ya think?

Personal preference. They should cost about the same to set up. I would go with the 30 wide.

The deeper the tank, the better, imo...so I agree with Wazzel.

I have a 30 wide and love it. A foot isn't going to affect the aggression levels of the fish one way or the other anyway.

I would also go with a wider, deeper, more cubic tank almost always over a slim rectangle. (this coming from a man with a run of the mill 55) The cubic tanks have a bigger footpring, but if you got the room I would definatley do it. It looks nicer IMO and I honestly think the fish have more room than with a longer, slimmer tank. I would also save up for as long as possible to get the biggest freaking tank possible, you will thank yourself in the long run.
