I found this, this morning in the tank. It's approx 3 inches long and looks
like a piece of thread. Please look at the images and tell me what you
think it may be. Is it a strain of eggs? If so from what?

I know the tank is looking bad. I'm working on that. But
everyone in the tanks seems to be prospering, especially the briopsis.

Thanks

Those are most likely cerith snail eggs. I get them all the time. and have even watched some of my cerith snails while in the middle of depositing those egg trails.

Some should survive, some may become food for others... and btw: you can't clean the glass in that area for a couple of weeks (if you want the eggs to survive to the next stage)

i've had tons of cerith eggs. No survivors - at least not past 1mm. Good luck!
