Definitely a Maxima. Nice teardrop, Ben. I wonder why the drops didn't fill in that one section of the mantle. Do you know if it's farm-raised or wild-caught?

Beautiful.

The scutes are an indicator that it is a maxima, even though it lacks the usual black "eyes" around the edges.

I believe it is cultured but the people at the LFS weren't sure. It had been there a few weeks and seemed healthy so I picked it up. It is under 250 watt halides. I will move it up to is spot on the rock in a few days.
