mantles. I've never heard of six lines bother clams. This ever happen to anyone else? I've had another six line in the past, and he never bothered the clams.

I thought six lines were supposed to be beneficial to clams...?

I've had one that nipped T.deresa and only T.deresa. I think they're all unique and will nip at various things depending on their personality/life experiences.

I actually find four line wrass better at gobble up small snails. 4 lines are not as attractive and grows larger in size though.

Hmmmm........ well this guy won't leave the Maxima clams alone.... it's nonstop nipping. Ughhh...... I couldn't catch him if I wanted to.

Does the fish nip the mantle, or under the clam ?
If it's under the clam, or near the base of the mantle, it can probably be after clams parasites, a mollusc.
