My latest aquisition, a pair of Darwin Clowns came out of QT today,,, plopped them into the tank and within 10 minutes the little one was acting all submissive (something he never did in the QT tank) and within an hour they were both frolicking in their new carpet anemone.

No big deal I know,,, I just love it when everything happens like you intended but without the weeks/months of waiting.

Beautifuuullll.

Cool Beans...got a pic?

I just snapped a couple of shots with my old crappy Mavica,,, will get some with my Coolpix once it's charged.

The smaller one is still doing the rubbing-against-the-tentacles thing, but the larger fish is in hog heaven,,, I never get tired of seeing that.

These are wild-caught fish as far as I know,,,, they certainly seemed to recognize a carpet anemone pretty quickly.

The anemone is perfectly healthy. Apart from it more than doubling in size, it's never looked any different in the 18 months I've had it..

Carpets are probably the worst/stickiest of the commonly kept species,,,, if it stings you on the back of the hand or other sensitive area it can itch a bit,,, but that's about it unless you have some kind of weird allergic reaction.
