Does anyone know what this is. It is milkyclear in color, flexable, and growing very quickly. I have had a couple fish die on me in the last 5 weeks, and no one at the Local Fish Store knows what this stuff is. Please Help

We need a much sharper picture but I would say these are not the cause of the death of your fish though. They could be anything from tunicates, to sponges, to .................

I have growth similar to that all over my live rock, in several colors.

I always assumed it was a sponge or tunicate, since I don't always know the difference between the two. I do not think it is the cause of your fish death.

I will try to get a sharper picture tommarrow. Some of the strands are now 2 inches long. They are closed at the tips though so I dont think they are turnicates. I could be wrong though because I am new at this.
