I have an Eclipse 18 gal FOWLR and I want to start a Reef Tank... I don't know how to go about putting on a protein skimmer...I dont know if I have enough room to hang one on....If anyone has an Eclipse can you let me know what you did. Also what are the basic things I need to start my reef tank? Please help

I have a 15g aga and my red sea prizm works fine for it.

When I imagine how those Eclipse's are configured, it doesn't appear like a HOB skimmer would work without losing the built-in filter.
