I am in debate over the what the best clown will be for my RBTA and the rest of my fish in the aquarium. It is a 100 gallon tank and only has 1 Sailfin tang, 1 coral Beauty, and 1 Royal Gramma. I have a RBTA (about 5-6") and I was wondering which clown would be best for this set up. I was think either a:

Maroon/Gold stripe , clarkii, bluestripe, or a tomato

Any suggestions?

I just established a gold stipe maroon pair in my tank, and love em. However keep in mind that maroons are aggressive clowns, and get large.
I would get a pair of clarki's if I were you. They're hardy, attractive and realatively peaceful.

It's really a matter of personal preference and what you can find at the store. I have both gold-stripe maroons and and blue-stripe clowns (chrysopterus) in RBTAs (in separate aquariums). They're both beautiful and somewhat territorial; although all the clowns that naturally co-habitate with RBTAs are on the nasty side. I've never had real problems with them though unless you introduce other clownfish.

And I really do recommend a pair. Nothing like watching that.
