I was reading the Nov 02 article you wrote about chemistry and the aquarium and want to make sure I understand.
You spoke about adding Arm & Hammer baking soda and washing soda.
Is this just straight form the store or are you modifying the products for reef tank use?

I also have a question on the recipe. The first one you have 2 parts, one is the calcium and the other is for alkalinity. My question is once I have two parts made, would it hurt to mix both og them into a 2 gallon jug and use this for top off water? I am a bit low on both Cal, and alk...this will help with top offs being made daily.
