hey,
just doing abit of research about my newly acquired and gorgeous coral beauty angelfish and ive noticed that its diet should incorporate a fair amount of plant matter be it nori/ lettuce etc. i was wondering what are the best ways of adminstering the food. ie cliped to a bull clip and placed in tank.
any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
p.s would the metal on the bull clip cause any grief in my tank?

You got the principle down, but the bull clip will be brown rust after 1 feeding. THere are seaweed clips u can use to feed the nori/lettuce and they are cheap and rust proof. U could also secure the plant matter to a rock with a rubber band or a weight but i like the clips better. A tip with lettuce is to boil it before using it-it makes it softer and easier to digest. :D

Yep, Like fishfanatic said, the LFS sells clips for maybe $3 or less. The suction cup usually gets crusty before the clip wears out. Make sure you look into the possibility of getting live macro algae from the LFS. My Coral Beauty likes Srung's Sea Veggies and goes nuts for the macro. He also eats pretty much anything else I give. Make sure whatever type of veggies you feed, try to make sure they have a good content of vitamin C. These fish are prone to lateral line erosion w/out it. Also, spirulina flakes are good and have the stuff angels and tangs need as a flake supplement.
