Hi Silinxia, and :welcome:

How long has this tank been set up?

Looks like you might need to run some carbon to help clear up that water.

It looks like you might be pumping air in the tank. I would jerk the air line tubing and airstone and replace it with a hang on the back filter of some kind. Or a canister filter. Air bubbles in the tank cause unwanted salt creep. What ever type of filter you are running does not look like it is working very well. Don't take this wrong but it looks like your making weak tea instead of a piece of the sea. Use some good high grade carbon and it should help to clear the water. Adding several pieces of well cured live rock should help some too. Good luck mate.

Can you tell use about your setup? As asked above, filters, pumps, lights, protein skimmers, etc....

Nice tank, some more info about what system you are using would be helpful.

you guys are right, its got a brownish, yellowish tinge. I'm running an Eheim 2210 internal filter (I'm very limited as to what I can run externally as it is an in the wall tank which is viewable on both sides), I have a powerhead and I do have an airstone in at the moment because i'm worried that there isnt enough gas exchange from agitation of the surface.

I have two lights, a marine white and an actinic 14000k.

In my filter I have (starting from bottom up) a sponge with some matrix, next media box i have only matrix, next box I have clearmec and a fine sponge.

How can I clear up my water?
