I'm generally concerned about temperature as we're coming into the summertime. I finally got my AC Jr. up and running and I've started my chiller up and running as well. I've noticed I have a HUGE temperature discrepancy between my AC Jr. and my chiller. My AC Jr. reads a temp of 85 degrees right now, whereas the chiller says it's only 82. I noticed that my shitty coralife digital thermometer is also reading much lower than my Ac Jr. My gut instinct is to trust the Aquacontroller, but I was wondering if anyone else had a similar experience.

Get an old fashioned mercury thermometer and check it. Theres no electronics involved with the mercury therometer so nothing to go wrong on. If that proves to be lower then the ACjr, then you'll need to adjust the temperature on the ACjr which I remember reading you should be able to do it from aquanotes.

Check your calibration:
Get a cup full of ice, and fill it with water. Chipped ice would work best. Mix the ice and water for a minute and then put the probe in. It should read 32 or 33 deg. Then see how far off it is.
