Ok there has got to be someone in here that is in a mobile home such as myself. I currently have a 40 gal tank with a 20 gal sump, about 80lbs rock and sand. I want to get a 75 or a 90 after the first of the year.
Is this ok in a mobile home? do I need to put braces under the home?
any advice would be great. I dont need to have a new tank go through the floor!!!

Better safe than sorry. A few braces will be cheap compared to the cost of a tank through the floor. Couple four by sixes and a couple of concrete pillars maybe $40 at hime depot.

most floor joist are 16 to 24 inches on center just make sure your tank in sitting perpindicular to the joists or across them and you shouldn't have a problem your tank should go across 2 to 3 of them

Add the braces and you will be thank full. Also, you may want to consider adding some power.

Contact the manufacturer of the home....see what they have to say...they built it, so they should know it's tolerances pretty well....
