 Hi, Im soon (well in the next 6 months) going to be making a big move From Rhode Island to Missouri. Most of the plans for moving are simple and straight forward. The only think I'm solisiting opinions on are the moving of the Fish and corals. I feel I have two options.
The LR/LS will be traveling with me in the back of my pickup in a 150 Gallon RUbermaid. It will have most of its usual pumps es skimmer using an inverter powered by the truck. The movers will hande moving the tanks and stands.
TWo optoins I have for moving the fish/corals etc.
My first idea was to Bring the Fish/corals to a friends LFS and have him house them until I was reset up and have them overnighted to me. Expensive and involves the stress of overnight air frieght on the animals.
One or two are large and that is part of my concern.
The second option is to Bring them to the LFS and return with my rubermaid setup in my truck once I have reset the tanks or at least a resonable holding facility and drive the fish down the same way I moved the LR/LS.
Opinions? Anybody done it?
tnx de John da bubafish
