Wow, I had about 20 or so majano's in my tank (added live-rock and the little buggers were hiding) well I was reading about trying to get rid of them. I found out that with a syringe and a paste made from the Pickling Lime by Mrs. Wages, you could slow them down quite a bit. Well, and a free syringe from wal-mart (nice pharmacy here) I have absolutely erradicated them. You wouldn't believe it if you saw it, well maybe if your not new like me you would, but anyways, they are all gone. Its incredible, gone in just a few minutes. All for just $1.99, incredible.

I have used the kalk paste method on many things, GSP, zoo's, shrooms, and of course aiptasia. It worked very well on all but the shrooms.

What are GSP? And why would you use it on 'shrooms? I think they are pretty attractive.

GSP=green star polyps.

I needed to nuke some shrooms when they out grew the area I designated for them, to protect the area saved for the acros. I eventually got rid of most of them all together but the came back. I don't dislike them but if you don't plan your reef setup properly taking into account all the corals going in the system they can cause territory issues.
