Also, never plug in a wet plug. I was plugging in my mixing pump to make some saltwater, and the prongs were covered in salt and kinda wet. Well, as you can guess, I got a nice little surprise when I pushed it in.

LOL yeah I know what you mean about that. Ive had a few times where I kinda looked at the plug and wondered if I should stick it in the outlet.

What is a GFCI, and can I just go into LOWES and ask for one and have someone understand what I am talking about, I dont like electricity any more dont plan on getting hit with it again, nor my critters.

you can get them at Lowes..Ground Fault Circuit Interupter or Ground Fault Interupter...(It acts kind of like a circuit breaker)..Look in your bathroom..more than likely there is one there...It has a black and red button..one for test(black) and the other for reset(red)..(I think)

oohh ok I had put one of those alread on the two circuts that I will be useing, 3 plugs total (studio apt so lots of power to few plugs) just dont wanna end up makeing all my hair stand on end . Thank you LN .
