had to try the tunze stream pumps and am pretty impressed.

after reading threads of people selling and returning them because they were too powerful i just had to have one.

i bought a 6060 which is the entry model and don't find it too large for my 90g. as matter of fact i think two would be nice on a controller.
spendy, but nice. too bad this one won't do a controller.

wish i had 800 bucks laying around for the ts24 kit. then i would tear up some sand.

anyway, just wanted to throw this info out there, as i said most threads sound very cautious about them and no one had an example of one on a 90g.

ok.....bye.... :)

I'd like to add one to my 125. I bet it would be a lot more tame on a 6 footer.

this is a great pump... but it does not live up to the hype i heard.

i don't regret the purchase as it is worth the money spent.
it's dead quiet, pushes lots of water and only sucks up 11 amps.
pretty freakin' cool 8)

I hate to say it, but I have also been checking out those new SEIO's by RIO. They make three 600gph, 800gph, 1000gph with a wide flow. It's just that the RIO name scares the crap out of me.

They look like they concentrate the flow more. They do not consume a lot of power though.

I had Rios for years and am gradually replacing them, but I sure as heck got my money out of them. A 6010 with multi controller is on my this years reef crap I gotta buy list, right behind that new kick arse Euroreef CS6-2+ skimmer I must have. I have a 120 (4x2x2) with a SSB. Hoping it doesnt blow too much.
