IIRC, there was supposed to be a frag swap at IMAC last year that was then cancelled.

Does anyone know why, or whether one is likely to happen next year?

Maybe if people could post here whether they are interested or not it could help Some people did still do some trading but it was harder than an organized swap would make it. There certainly was space!

Yes ostrow the Frag Swap was cancelled last year at IMAC (we thought not enough people were interested), but it looks like it will be back on in some form this year. FragExchange has a booth and they will be doing fragging demos the whole weekend and either giving the frags away or for a small donation.

I hear they have even talked Anthony Calfo and Eric Borneman into doing something special regarding fragging in addition to their presentations at IMAC. Watch the website www.theimac.org for details .

Is anyone on reefs.org interested in a wider frag swap at the IMAC? If people were, could one still be organized?

FragExchange having a booth is one thing. But hobbyists with frags of their own to swap or sell is something else.

I have never been but hear that MACNA has a wildly popular frag swap. Why not at IMAC too?

I would bring kenya trees, mushrooms of all colors, xenia, montipora digitatas of various colors, and perhaps some more exotic things as well.

Anyone want to chime in???

When I was at MACNA last year I set up private swaps with some people. That's not a bad way to go...
