Does the Bullet 1 compare to the Aqua C EV 120 or the EV 180?

I'm having size issues. I have 6" clearance, at most, between my stand and sump. I currently have a berlin turbo under the tank(23" tall?/6"wide?) and it is tight just getting it under the tank.

The Bullet 1 and the EV120 will fit no problem and the EV 180 may or may not fit.

The tank is a drilled AGA 125 gallon. I'm leaning toward the Bullet 1 with the sedra 9000. Would the EV 120 be just as good(better?/too small?)?

The thing I like about the Aqua C's is that the gate valve is included.

What do ya's think?

I would go with the bullet for sure, it is a much better skimmer IME. I see Aqua C's for sale used all the time. Bullets not so often, that should tell ya something 8)

I don't know about the Bullet but I had an EV-180 on the 120g I just took down. The skimmer was good but I wouldn't rate it as great. The EV-120 probably wouldn't be sufficient for your 125g (depends on bioload). I replaced the 120g with a 260g and have an Aerofoamer 830 with a Blueline 70 powering it. Now that thing SKIMS!

Now that I think I am getting the Bullet, is the Bullet 1 w/sedra 9000 powerful enough for my moderate to light bioloaded 125?

I have one tubinaria, one plerogyra sinuosa, two large sarcophytons, one moderate sized sinularia, numerous seamats/zoanthus, shrooms, star polyps, one maxima clam, two small zebra conchs, about 25 turbo/astrea mix, two serpent stars, one yellow tang, two clowns(tomato and clarki), two blue green chromis', one bicolor damsel, one dottyback, and two convict blennies, turtle grass, caulerpa, a 3"-5" DSB and about 80-100 lbs of LR. I only plan to add some more clams(2) and one more turbinaria.

What do you think?

Thanks in advance.

I use the bullet 3 on my 150, and have 10 fish. Corals dont really add much to the bioload.

If you can afford the bullet 2 I would go with that, otherwise the bullet one should be fine.

My only issue is fitting the Bullet 2 under the tank. If I found a way to fit it what submersible pump could I use with the bullet 2?

I use a mak 4 on my bullet 3 plumbed over the side of the sump. I would think a mag 9.5 or 12 would work well.
