Wow what a great site! I have been lurking for days.I have been out of it for 10 years and cannot believe how much things have changed.Question is about adding plants to increase water quality.I remember Feather caulerpa being my favorite plant , loved the way it looks, fish didnt seem to pick it apart and it was fast growing. The only thing I can seem to make grow well is my wifes temper. This plant seemed to do very well, this was 10 years ago.Im thinking about purchasing it and suddenly there is a special by NOVA called "Deep Sea Invasion".Movie points finger at us(aquarists) being the cause of a world wide invasion of calerpa!Well if you havent seen movie you can order the tape directly from NOVA you must see this!!!Very well done documentary. It talks about how this Caulerpa taxifolia(feather calerpa) has taken over the Meditranian .....anyway it is banned in California there is even a SCCAT Southern California Caulerpa Action Team set up to eraticate infestations. My question is what is the best plant now for water quality? My definition of best is easy to grow and hardy??The other types of caulerpa didnt seem to do as well?Sorry in advance if this subject has already been discussed but I just found you guys few days ago.
