I think the $99 starting bid is too much for me. They are quite nice looking, but I bet my girlfriend wouldn't even notice it in a tank with a couple of yellow tangs.

That brings up a good question..What is the most expensive polyp any Reef keeper has ever seen..Lets say a full colony at a LFS or online dealer..not e-bay or some con artist..legitamate (if that can be the case?)

The most expensive one are those that died. A $20 Xenia is priceless (or rather, worthless to be more accurate) once it disappeared. Every polyp is irreplaceable, so take good care of all corals.

Actually, now that I've temporarily graduated from reefing, does that take my name off the list of iodiots?

That is to rich for my blood. The most I have ever paid for a coral is $35.

Dude you took the words out of my mouth. I had family over last month for a big get together and everyone was like "OHHHH look at the little fishy!! (six line wrasse and oc. clown) ITS NEMO!"

Its like great they almost thought about noticing all the hard work I put into the tank. sheesh

If it is as gorgeous in real life as the picture suggests, I would sure like one!

I hope the high bidder can propogate them.

Hah! All the clownfish and yellow tangs in the world can't help you now!

ROTFL! I just watched this episode last night.

Peace,
