Which VHO bulb should i get?

I am ruuning a 175watt 15K XM bulb, and 2 atinic VHO bulbs. Im looking to purchase 2 new VHO bulbs, and was wondering if I should go with a 50/50 bulb instead of getting atinics again. Not sure if my corals are getting enough daylight spectrum. Opinions???

You may be right.

I run actinics with my 10K 175's. But with 15K's, 50/50's might be a better choice. I'd give it a try.

If the halides are going to be replaced soon, get the actinics and get 10KK XMs next time around. The 10KK XM is so much brighter then the 15 or 20KK.

Thanks guys. No the MH is not ready to be replaced. I guess ill try the 50/50 bulbs.

URI makes a great 50/50 bulb called an Actinic White.

If you like the color of your current lighting then just get the Actinics again, the corals will adapt to just about anything you throw at them, color wise.
