I have a BEAUTIFUL Centropyge Bicolor. Not only is he beautiful, but he also is very well adapted to my tank. He is hand fed every day and I can even pat him... I love this fish.
But, as all the things that are good, has the catch that he is not entirely reef safe.
Does anyone have any experience eith this fish and, for example, tridacnas? I have a great deal on 3 tridacnas and I'm afraid he will eat them...

Thanks

I have one in my 90 and I have a crocea and a gigas and doesn't bother them. He has taken bites out of my leather toadstool and xenia and aiptaisia for that matter. But not enough where things don't heal. I think he gives everything a try, but I've had him in there for over a year and a half.

Its a risk. The fish are very much individuals and can't be predicted. My Potter's Angel has never bothered sps or my frogspawn, but I have resisted the urge to get a clam or an open brain style lps coral.

Does he touch anything?

He is kept with Sarcophyton, Lobophyton, Corallimorphians, Sinularia, Xenia, A Stichodactyla mertensii, a Pseudopterogorgia, and some palythoans and protopalythoans. Doesn't touch any of them as far as I can tell. YMMV.
