Ok, so I'm new to using a kalkreactor. I got an ecotech reactor and must say the design is really cool! I hooked it all up, however recently when my float valve was low and kicked on my ro unit, which is plumbed into the kalkreactor the effluent was way thick, and look what it did to my tank... What should I do? None of the corals seem to be damaged, how ever my PH is a little whack right now.. How do I stop this from happening again, how does every one monitor the kalk/ro mixture consistency?

Turn off the reator until the problem is controlled. You say the PH is out of whack. How high is it? A large water change may be necessary if you have critters in there. The cloud is a mixture of Ca precipitation and the rapid PH change.

Good luck!
