bar,

I have not tried that specific pump, but I do own 2 sequense pumps and think they are great pumps. I have a 3600pro21 and a 3200seq20. Both are pressure pumps as identified by the max head pressure (21 & 20).

They are energy efficient, quiet, and have had a few years with no cleaning, noises, or breakdowns.....

I have it but have not fired it up yet. It seems well built and I have heard good things about the sequence product line.

It is a shaft driven pump. It is supposed to have a good quality saltwater duty mechanical seal.

IT will add some heat due to the friction between the seal faces. How much for me remains to be seen. I do not think it will add as much as all of the mags I had on my last tank.
