what do you mean "that good" its all in the eye of he who be holder(of the credit card). They reproduce like weeds though, if you put enough actinic lighting on something an aiptasia I wouldn't be surprised if one colors up. They are pests though. Selling a "frag" for $30 ranges on retarded, with the full retard going to he who pays $30 for one.

They're not Mojano, probably a close relative though. I sell these Tulip Anemone for 5/$20 including shipping. They're attactive and easy to remove but if there's food available they will reproduce quickly.

Yeah, not sure what those are either but they don't look like Majanos. I can't imagine any anemone doesn't pack a serious thing though :?

I have those and Mini-Carpet Anemone (Stichodactyla tapetum) right next to SPS and I don't notice any aggression on either side. LPS will kille the Tulips but not the Mini-Carpets, Aiptasia and Mojano will kill the Tulips and the Mini-Carpets.

Here's a Tulip Anemone hosting a 1/3" Clownfish. I have several Tulip Amenone in my Clownfish grow-out tanks and they are all hosting the baby Clownfish. I have Mojano and they will eat a baby Clownfish.

That is my point are they a different anemone, afamily member(which doesn't harm others), or is he selling run of the mill mojanos?

Well I'm sure he has pink tipped ones, which might be rarer, (i've been lucky enough to avoid both mojano & aiptasia) but they if they still are mojano paying for them, is like paying for chaeto. Just ask a fellow reefer for some :)

I think they are a member of Anemonia sp. but not Anemonia mojano. If they're not Anemonia sp. they are closely related. I have some polychaete worms that eat only specific species of Anemone and both Mojano and the Tulips are on the menu, but then so are Aiptasia sp.

I had some of those in my 2.5 and they multiplied like crazy. I easly had 50 or more in there. They stung the crap out of a zoo colony until there were only a few zoo polyps left. I ended up taking out all the rocks with those on them. I thought I had gotten them all, but the two that managed to sneak over to a couple of rocks that I kept, are still living quite happily in the tank. Only one has split in the last 8 months, so I've left them alone.

I have a rock covered in them and they have been model citizens compared to the glass anemone's that have infested my tank. They are gorgeous under actinics, especially in a nano where they can be close to the light. They only get about 1.5 in around in my tank and I have about 30 of them on the one rock. I did not know they would host clowns though. I think I have the new theme for my 2.5G nano :) Now I just need $60 for lights.
