Best carbon article

Hey all,

I've searched advanced aquarist, reefkeeping, here, reefcentral, etc. There was an article I read online not too long ago that evaluated all the activated carbon on the market for the amount of color it would remove from the water and the price. There was a neat little plot and everything. I know Seachem was the best but man that is pricey, so I was hoping to read that article again to find the second best carbon.

Does anyone have this article in their favorites or know what I'm talking about?

That is EXACTLY what I was looking for, if you don't mind telling me, how in the world did you locate that? I used a slew of keywords and nothing brought that up.

PS...anyone want to have a free for all? What is the best carbon in your opinion at removing the yellow tint from your water? How long do you run it?

I recalled reading it in AF years ago, so the first place I went to was our library and looked in the AF archives. A ctrl+F of the word carbon in the "Featured Articles" section turned up Harker's articles.
