Hey everyone,

I am going to Tonga again next week. Is there anything reef related that I should pay attention to? Anything I can look for that might shed some light on something in the hobby?

:D

:D Bob will mostly have the tripod - I gotta deal with the surge!

I am planning on taking better pictures of eutrophic areas vs coral areas, and shots of corals in relation to sand. I'll also take a good look at what is living in the sand near reefs as well.

:D

I actually put that octo on my head to show the locals that it wouldn't bite and that it wasn't a danger to their health. I had to convince them that a zebra eel wasn't a poisonous sea snake as well.

Aye. It might not be a danger to your health but octo bites hurt like the dickens. They have a venom that erodes your flesh man!

Have fun and tell the king I said whassup.

Oh that's right, it's not universal. Is that O. cyanea? I got bit by O. rubescens. Don't toy with those beatsies.

Take some pictures of open water fish like Tangs and such that we typically keep in smaller tanks.. hell take pictures of all the damn reef fish (yes every species in Tonga! ;)).
