My clam I have had for about 7 mo now never blew before. But now all of a sudden it has been blowing off white stuff for about 5 mins. Is this normal or should I get it out of the tank. Any help would be thankful.

Relax, it's probably having "great sex". Make sure your skimmer is running full speed and you'll be OK - unless it's a big clam in a relatively small tank - then you may want to remove it temporarily until it stops and lights up a cigar.
