I did research on him I heard about that but I've had him for over 2 months w/ no problems what-so-ever (knock on wood). He comes out from under the sand during feeding and I give him his own frozen shirmp then he goes back under the sand.When he comes out people just love him, hes never tried to hurt any fish or inverterbrates he just swims (upside-down) and walks across the bottom.
I see, probably as long as you can ensure that he gets his share of food he'll be fine. I assume that your question regards the posibility that he eats the goby? I have no idea. If it's regarding competition, I assume that the horseshoe cleaned up your sandbed by now, so you'll have to make sure the goby gets enough food too...
