What a nice surprise today!!!
After more than a month (37 days to be exact) since my beloved Madracis RTN-ed (http://www.reefs.org/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=71154) I just noticed that on my RTN-ed Madracis a few polyps showed up. They are far from full size, but they are Madracis for sure. Initially it had like 40-50 polyps, and now it only has 5-6, but it will recover (I hope).
I can't believe it! I left it in the tank as it was encrusted on a large LR and couldn't remove it. I even placed some frags on top of the skeleton. I wonder if it happened to anybody else. I assume that people just throw away the skeleton when a coral RTNs (I know I did that with my first RTN-ed coral - a Montipora capricornis).
This made my day today!
