Honest review below. (you've been warned, there's spoilers)

UGH. The movie should have been called "stuff at the surface: Feedings"

Not even worth the DVD.
Here's the 'plot'

Standard Dolphins/porpises shot of them playing.

Really cool shots of 200+dolphins, sharks, and a whale chowing down on sardines.

Albatrosses diving for food

Sand bubbler crabs. My favorite segment of the movie

Killer whale dining on baby sea lions.

COral reef! about 15 minutes of lame reef shots. One nice closeup of a table sized acro. Couple of flyovers.

Change to night. Nurse sharks feeding/chasing a grouper.

Jellyfish. (don't remember the shots because the music lulled me to sleep.)

Killer whale dining on baby whale

Penguins/polar bear segment. No, the polar bear didn't eat the penguins.

Really cool segment of luminecence (sp?) in the really deep. ( you saw most of the good shots in the trailer.)

A blue whale feeding on a bait ball of fish.

Standard "we've been to outer space but not the bottom of the ocean" bit

All the while random interjections/voice overs done by Pierce Brosnan.

Blah.

I wish they would have said the location of each shot, and also listed the name of most of the animals. There were 5 other people in the theater, and two were girlfirends. They either asked or guessed every animal on screen.

I guess I expected more underwater shots for a movie called "DEEP blue"

So it's a go see it at a $2 mattinee movie.
