Now I am waiting on the rainbow monti, I think I have a trade lined up for that though.

I'll be putting one up as a prize in a future Reefs.org Contest. The piece came directly from Matt Hopper. I'm just having a helluva time trying to come up with something other than a photo contest. :?

You could use it as a prize for the buildoff, which ends I think in December.

So that's the infamous "superman" ?? I'm not impressed, I expected a big red S on it

:lol: Someone mentioned that before that there was no yellow, and that it should be the spiderman coral instead.

I think Spiderman coral is more approriate... btw what is the NAME of the coral, not the nickname, I have a peltiformis that has similar looking polyps (just its not the same color)

Originally, the Superman was was listed as M. danae by the guys that discovered it at ExoticReefs. Reeffarmers identified the same piece later on as the M. monasteriata.

heres a pic of my fav, i picked it up thinking it was going to die, but so far so good, had it for 3 weeks and it was in the LFS for 3 weeks. i put it in a low flow low light area as recommended by eric B.

Here's my superman! Well ok not really a "superman" but it's blue with red centers in a type of favia (i'm guessing), and I've never seen one this color before
