Try injecting them with Kalk paste.

Lye (NaOH) works. Some butterflyfish are natural controls. I sympathize. I lost my battle with mushrooms.

Why don't I ever have this "problem"? After keeping SPS, clams, all sorts of stuff, they are still among my favorite corals. I WANTED them to take over my 150, but they wouldn't. :?
I believe that light that I needed for clams and other things was too much for them to spread to many areas of the tank.

the easiest way to kill mushrooms is to leave them out on the porch for a while.

cand give them away... they are taking over the pieces of rock that make up the base so ya... kinda outa the question givven them away. i would have to tear down my tank... keep in mind that its only a 30 gal and their isent much room for them to get outa hand i need to do something now... tried the kalk paste and lemon juice ,... does joes juice work for them, is a racoon compatible with sps and clams??

Thermal nuclear devices are said to have an adverse effect on them. Some forms of VX and G nerve agents as well.

I found that after I added the MH lights to my tank they stoped spreading and moved into the shade. You could try srubbing them off with a tough bristled brush (after cutting off the disks). A water change might be prudent afterwords to suck out any remainders.

well i have strong lighting and it has no effect on them.. but ill try scrubbin them out
