So I have a little outbreak of Planaria in one area of my tank ( red/orange in color)... few stragglers here and there. They aren't in a hurry to go anywhere and after one night, they are still roughly in the same place. I'm getting some water ready to to a water change and suck what I can out. I've started running some Carbon and reduced the fish food. They haven't got on any of my Coral but they aren't on a rock I can take out of the aquarium.

Any thoughts on what else I should be doing.

Fish aren't going for them nor are the hermits.

Biological controls for FW's seem to be more miss than hit. I would do a search on Flatworm Exit and use it - but really follow the instructions.

First they are not Planaria, Planaria are freshwater, they are Acoel Flatworms. Simply siphon them out while they are concentrated in one area and continue daily until the population is gone.

Sorry, I was using the common name as used by Sprung and Delbeek in their books. However, I thank you for your advice and will syphon the acoel flatworms out this second.

All the best
