a friend just picked up a sargassum frog and the place he got it from was obviously overfeeding. Its stomach is huge and aparently it cant stay at the bottem and keeps floating up. could it be excess air in his stomach? or is his buoyancy all messed up? anybody have any ideas whats wrong and how to fix him?

not from over feeding IME. He may "burp" the air out or he may die. I forget if there is much to assist in this from the caretaker. Good luck

I've bled the air out with a needle when I encountred this problem several times before. It works well if you know what you're doing, but I'm reluctant to suggest it for obvious reasons. You may have no choice however.
