Amp master external 3000 quick question

I just installed the 3000 with the spider manifold and when I pluged it in "nothing". It seems to get no power. Is there a lock screw or anything that keeps the pump from powering up. It makes no noise at all so that makes me think it isn't getting power. Any ideas I would appreciate...

Is it stuck (can you turn the impeller by hand)? Is it new? Did you used before?

Are you plugging it in with no water in the pipes?

That's a big no no.

They are very quiet though. But you should be able to tell by the water flow if it is on or not.

AmpMaster 3000 is rated 24 hour dry run. Even if he had no water in it running it for a few minutes is nothing to worry about. Can you disconnect the pump from the plumbing and plug it in? You should see the impeller spinning.
