How do I keep my T. crocea from "knocking" itself over...I think it does it everytime it closes due to a shadow...Its in the sandbed since i dont have a place for it up on the LR..I kinda bury it in the sand partially but it seems to uproot itself... any suggestions?

Hey Nikon,

I chiseled a large enough whole for a Crocea to grow to adult size in my live rock (first picture)

or

you can take an appropriately sized piece of pvc pipe (like the one in the clamsdirect photo) and conceal the pipe with epoxy and small pieces of live rock.

My solution was to place a piece of LR (OK, admittedly I used a mussel shell, but it worked) in the sand under the clam. It eventually attached to it, and I epoxied that to other rocks.
