I must agree about liking the pocci carpet. I Understand how you feel though. Im sure I feel the same way about the xenia in my tank. But, from a by standers point of view its pretty cool. Actually, a look a million reefers could only hope to acheive in their dreams.

Randy, where did you get the RV latches for the door?

Is the hole closed up, yet? :)

And what kind of moonlights did you use on your tank? I should have bought them from you also. ;)

P.S. But seriously, share with us what the plans for the next tank are! :P

The wall is being rebuilt as we speak.

I used the moonlight that comes with a Tunze 7095 multi-controller. I stoppped using it after the Poccilipora spawned and I do not recommend moonlighting for this reason. Spawns can bring whole tanks down....

Sorry Marco. I no longer have the files on my computer.

Remember, the only things the affect the reactor is the bubble count and the effluent pass-through rate. Find a combination of effluent flow and bubbles that brings the CA effluent PH down to the 6.5 - 6.75 range. That should give you good CA and alk readings. There are a million combinations of CO2 and effluent passthrough. Find the one that works best for your animals. ;)

It's funny. Although I do miss my 300 gallon tank, so far I don't have any inclination to start a new tank. Knowing that I don't have room for anything close to a 300, and knowing that I have no desire to ever bite off a project that size again, I just can't get excited about anything smaller.

That's the problem with having had a tank that big. Everything else seems piddly.

I did enjoy getting my first full-months power bill at the new house. $240 vs. $530 at the old house.

Maybe I'll get a wild hair later.
